ANKER POWER BANK VOLUNTARY RECALL

Effective: June 27, 2025 | Recall Ends: September 27, 2025

At Anker, your safety and trust are at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we are initiating a global, voluntary, precautionary recall of select power banks — not because they are confirmed to be dangerous, but because we believe in doing the right thing before a problem arises.

Earlier this year, we discovered that a small batch of lithium-ion batteries from one of our suppliers did not meet our updated internal safety standards. While the likelihood of any malfunction is very low, and most units continue to work as expected, we’ve decided — out of an abundance of caution — to organize a proactive recall of four specific models.

This is not about panic; it’s about protection. We want to ensure that every product in our customers’ hands is held to the highest standard of safety. Whether your power bank shows issues or not, if it’s part of the affected batch, we’re here to help you replace it safely and responsibly.

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and continued trust in Anker.

As the world's leading charging brand, Anker recognizes its responsibility to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and transparency.

Earlier this year, Anker implemented a series of enhanced quality assurance protocols designed to detect manufacturing issues earlier in the production cycle.

These safeguards-including expanded component-level audits, more rigorous supplier testing and stronger oversight of how battery cells and their materials are sourced and manufactured-recently helped us identify a potential issue with common lithium-ion battery cells from a single vendor.

These cells were used in multiple Anker power bank models, and while the likelihood of malfunction is considered minimal, we have decided to initiate a voluntary global recall of several power bank models.

This recall was proactively initiated by Anker, not in response to regulatory order or a pattern of widespread incidents. We have since notified and are working closely with regulatory authorities in each region to ensure the recall is carried out in full compliance with local guidelines.

In the coming weeks, we will also unveil our Battery Safety Program-a formal, public-facing initiative that builds on the enhanced safeguards already in place. This program will provide additional transparency around our global safety protocols, including supplier accountability, cell-level performance testing, and end-to-end quality assurance across all Anker battery-powered products.
